Deen Kemsley is an even better man than author. Yet that fact is exactly what qualifies him to write this simple yet beautiful work. The book is filled with the testimony of Christ. I recommend it to all those who sincerely wish to know how a testimony of Christ shapes the lives of those who live by faith. Through his own experience, as well as the experiences of those whom he introduces in the book, Deen teaches of the absolute comfort, wisdom, and power that fills the hearts of all true believers.

Excerpt: Chapter 8
"There is a large picture of the Savior hanging on the wall in front of my desk at home. In this picture, Christ is in reflective mood as he overlooks Jerusalem. I imagine that he is contemplating the sacrifice he is about to make for us. Despite his knowledge of this great imminent sacrifice, he is calm and at ease. He seems unruffled by the impending storm. Then, as I've pondered the peace he conveys, I've often read the inscription at the bottom of the picture which reads, "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding, and He shall direct thy paths." This inscription captures the essence of the gospel - if we can but learn to truly trust in Christ, his peace will become our peace and we will become one with him."
